About us//
Since two generations the Hotel-Restaurant is managed by the Häußlers. They are looking back on a history of more than 50 years. In November 1968 Karl Häußler’s parents founded a small grocery shop with a cafe in the tranquil small town Langenbruck. With the expansion of the A 9 motorway, more and more guests came to the café. Many of them were also looking for an overnight stay. Therefore, the family also offers guest rooms since the end of the 1970s. Soon the hotel, the cafe and the restaurant were expanded due to the great demand. This was already before the generation change took place in March 2000 and Karl Häußler junior took over his parents’ business as a well trained, skilled cook and pastry chef.

Family Häußler
In March 2000 Karl Häußler junior took over the traditional restaurant business from his parents. His wife Steffi, who is also a gastronomer with heart and soul, has additional training as a housekeeper. Besides, she supports her husband in all matters. The successful family business, which is known for its excellent cuisine, homemade cakes and tarts and perfect hospitality, is managed with a lot of heart and soul. For the whole family, it is their passion and lifestyle.

Less waste
In purchasing, we take care to avoid packaging materials as good as possible to reduce waste to an absolute minimum. For instance, we take cosmetic products in refill packs (instead of small cans).

We take care of a flower meadow in our garden and on an area outside of Langenbruck.

We attach great importance to sustainability in all areas. Our goal is the maximum responsible use of resources to make our contribution to a better environment.
